Property Description:  This property is a hunter’s dream!  Very abundant whitetail deer numbers, bobwhite quail, pheasants, dove, wild turkey, and yes, plenty of ducks!  This property consists of very heavy cancelled CRP due to woody invasion, sandhills prairie, a cedar shelter belt along one side, and the one key to drawing and keeping wildlife close, WATER.  All combined to make this the hang out spot for many of the tremendous bucks the area is known for.  Not only does the property only have a single, very minimum maintenance road on only one side, it is surrounded by sandhills and large tracts of cropland making it that “spot” you want to hunt.  Near the back of the property is a waterhole that is kept full by a solar powered pump making it the daily stop for a host of game animals including high quality whitetail bucks.  Surrounding the waterhole are huge cottonwood and cedars trees that give shelter and comfort for wildlife at this hang out spot.  Check out the trail camera photos and you will notice a non-typical genetic in many of the bucks giving rise to kickers, stickers, and even a few with anomalies that boost gross antler scores higher and higher.  This property is also located less than a half mile from the famed Arkansas River that provides a rare multicounty deer travel corridor through Western Kansas.

For The Deer Hunter:  This area and neighboring properties have produced trophy Whitetails historically.  The short three-year trail camera history shows numerous trophy bucks and the overly abundant numbers of deer that reside here.  The property has food, bedding, cover, and water that makes it the place to hunt in immediate surrounding area.  Deer Management Unit #5.

For The Upland Hunter:  The bobwhite quail numbers are impressive on this property.  Constant whistles are heard and bird flushes when moving around the property.  Trail camera photos document a good ringneck pheasant population as well.

For The Duck Hunter:  You must check out the trail camera photos to believe what happens on the waterhole.  Mallards, Wood Ducks, and other puddle ducks use the water hole daily.  And some days LOTS of them!
